Dining at home is an affordable and stylish alternative to entertaining friends and family at a restaurant. Your menu can be fully customised to your requirements.
I can cook at your home, or come to your holiday home.
Why Wild In The Pantry?
My aim is to offer my services as a creative chef, and provide you with a meal to remember, tailored to your exact requirements, in a relaxed environment, for a reasonable price. I don't usually provide crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc. - I leave that to you, so you're not paying for what you don't need.
How It Works
Together we will discuss the menu you would like, usually on the phone or by email. I will check if there dietary requirements or allergies. I will ensure your menu is well balanced in terms of nutrition, flavours, style and presentation. I will give you a full quote in advance including my time, ingredients and and travel costs so you know exactly where you stand.
Please note: it is usual for everyone to have the same menu. I can usually cook up to 2 options for 2 of the courses, but this depends on the facilities available, and the number of diners. It will cost more to have a choice as it takes me more time to prepare the dishes, and the economies of scale are not as effective. However I will always do my best to accommodate vegetarian, gluten free and any other dietary requirements without extra charge.
I will then do all the shopping, bring any equipment I need with me, let you know what time I will arrive, and be ON TIME!
You will supply crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving dishes (I'll let you know what I need), set the table, and invite your friends, family or colleagues for the agreed time. I will cook and serve the food, and then clear down the kitchen while you eat. For a full checklist see my prices page, which also explains options on the level of service, and how to book me.
What It Costs
My charge is calculated from the amount of time I spend preparing your meal, the cost of ingredients, and any additional expenses such as mileage. I will always provide a full quote in advance, once we have agreed a menu.
Some typical prices are:
3 course dinner for 2, with canapés - £150 (fixed price)

I can also cook for your hen party weekend, at home or in your hen party roost.
Along with my partner Sandra, we provide fully catered weekends for parties of up to 16 at your home or holiday home. Please ring to discuss your requirements.
