Dining At Home is an affordable and stylish alternative to entertaining friends and family at a restaurant. Your menu is fully customised to your requirements.

Why Wild In The Pantry?

Many private dining and personal chef services offer top end fine dining, with a full crockery, cutlery and glassware service, waters and waitresses, silver service and so on. That's fine and dandy, but you will pay for all those trimmings. May aim is to offer my services as a creative and passionate chef, interested only in providing you with a meal to remember, tailored to your exact requirements. And that's all you pay for.

How It Works

Together we will discuss the menu you would like. Some people have very specific requirements, others are happy for me to put something together based round just one or two ideas. If you have requirements around allergies or other dietary requirements these will be taken into account. I will prepare a detailed menu based on local, seasonal produce where possible. I will ensure it is well balanced in terms of nutrition, flavours, style and presentation. I will giev you a full quote in advance inclduing my time, ingredients and and travel costs so you know exactly where you stand.

I will then do the shopping, part prepare the dishes at my home if appropriate, bring any equipment I need with me, let you know what time I will arrive, and be ON TIME!

You will supply crockery, cutlery, glassware, serving dishes etc., and invite your friends, family or colleagues for the agreed time. I will cook and serve the food, and then clear down the kitchen while you eat. However I don't wash up the crockery and cutlery - I will leave you once the kitchen is clean and the food is served.

For a dinner party, the recommended maximum is 8 diners. For less formal meals, buffets, banquets, tapas, canapé parties etc. I can cater for up to 25 people. Rest assured - I will never try to take on an event I'm not confident of coping with.

What It Costs

My charge is calculated from the amount of time I spend preparing your meal, the cost of ingredients, and any additional expenses such as mileage. I will always provide a full quote in advance, once we have agreed a menu.

Typically, prices range from around £120 (dinner for 4) to £300 (buffet for 25).
