If you would prefer to just choose a set menu, at a fixed price, then here are some suggestions. Any of the choices can be changed, and a vegetarian dish is always an option.

Each menu includes ingredients, food preparation and serving (if required), and clearing down the kitchen. It does not include expenses (e.g. travel), wines spirits and other drinks, washing of crockery and other tableware.

Menu 1 - Pescatarian

Spiced King Prawns
wrapped in filo pastry, with a chilli dip (canapé)

Twice-baked Goat's Cheese and Blue Cheese Soufflé

served with slow roasted baby tomatoes and dressed side salad

Seared Tuna
coated in a rish balsamic and soy marinade, served with warm spiced coriander noodle salad

Summer Fruit Streusel
served with fresh, whipped or clotted cream

Menu 2 - Traditional Scottish Banquet

Haggis, Neeps and Tatties
with a rich beef and redcurrant gravy

Leek and Potato Soup
finished with cream, served with crusty bread


Fillet of Venison*
on a caramelised leek and pearl barley risotto
served with kale and a whisky and mushroom sauce


Traditional Cranachan
raspberries, cream, whisky, honey and toasted oatmeal

Selection of Fine Cheeses
3 cheeses, oatcakes and grapes

Balsamic Marinated Figs with Prosciutto and Parmesan Shavings
served with dressed mixed greens and bruschetta

Moroccan Pork Roll

served with Kosheri (rice, lentils, noodles and fried onions) and rich spicy tomato sauce

Lemon Tart
with ice-cream, créme fraiche or cream

Cauliflower and Scallop Soup
finished with truffle oil

Caramelised Onion and Goat's Cheese Tartlet

with roasted red peppers and onion marmalade (canapé)

A supreme of chicken with a rich sauce,
served with sweet potato and red onion rosti
and sugarsnap peas

Knickerbocker Glory
jelly, ice-cream, cherries, mango, strawberries, clementines,
amaretti biscuits and chocolate buttons stacked in a glass!
