Pay a visit to East Street Kitchens in Colne near Cambridge (our home!) for one of our cookery days, where the emphasis is on fun, learning and relaxation. Your hosts Sandra & Frank will look after you and teach you a range of skills and techniques around the day's theme. Courses run from 9am until approximately 3.30pm, and are all on Tuesdays. Your lunch will be the dishes you have cooked in the morning, and there will be an afternoon tasting and Q&A to complete the day. There is a maximum of 6 students on any one course. The cost for each day is £100, which includes recipes, ingredients, meals and drinks. Courses are suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced cooks.

Thai fishcakes, pickled vegetables, ballotine of pork tenderloin, potatoes Anna, leek and cider sauce, chocolate fondants, ice-cream
14th August 2018 - Barbecues
Be different! How to spatchcock chicken, marinate for flavour, make kebabs, make your own burgers, BBQ potatoes and BBQ bread.
16th October 2018 - Pastry
Savoury and sweet pastries, choux and puff pastry, techniques demo'd and explained and practical use made of your pastry (and some to take home).
13th November 2018 - Canapés and Christmas Food
Treats and nibbles for family and friends at Christmas. Details tbc.
